The beachfront trail is a 22 mile, car-free bike path, perfect for exploring all the area's major beach cities. Santa Monica also has paved bike lanes for easy access to its friendly neighborhoods.
Adults can choose between a Comfort Bike or a City Bike and there are Kids Bikes for ages 8-12.

Tour / Activity Details
48 Hours Minimum Advance Booking Required. Security preathorization of $50.00 per bike required at check-in. Optional $3.00 Damage & Theft Waiver available at check-in. All fees subject to change. There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Participation Requirements
- Participants must be 18 years old to rent or come with a parent or guardian to sign for them at time of rental.
- Participants must sign a release contract to rent; ride at your own risk.
- Manufacturers’ weight limit applies to all equipment.
- Riders under the age of 18 are required by CA state law to wear a helmet.
Security Preathorization
- A security preathorization of $50.00 per bike (subject to change) is required at check-in.
- American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Visa and JCB credit and debit cards are accepted for security preathorizations.
- The Preathorization will be cancelled following the return of undamaged rental bikes, and your card will not be charged.
Optional Damage & Theft Waiver
- An optional Damage & Theft Waiver is available at check-in for $3.00 per bike per day (subject to change).
- This waiver covers 100% of damages and 50% of replacement cost in the event of theft (police report required).
Available Bikes
- CITY BIKE - City Bikes are easy riding bikes great for exploring the city or riding along the scenic beach bike path. It’s a light, fun, comfortable companion mile after mile. Frame sizes accommodate riders from 5’0" to 6’4" in height.
- COMFORT BIKE - Momentum bikes provide a comfortable cruiser style ride with the added benefit of seven gears, front and rear hand brakes and a convenient cup holder. Comfort bikes come in two sizes to fit riders from 5’4" to 6’3" in height (160cm to 190cm).
- KIDS BIKE - Kids' bikes come in 20 and 24-inch wheel sizes equipped with multiple gears and hand brakes; built with lightweight frames and a low center of gravity, they offer a comfortable and smooth ride.
Ordering Information
- HALF DAY RENTALS - 4 hours, return bike by end of validity period
- FULL DAY RENTALS - Through end of rental day, return bike by 5:00 pm that day
- OVERNIGHT RENTALS - Return bike by 11:00 am on the following day
- ADDITIONAL DAYS RENTALS - Return bike by 5:00 pm on the final day of the validity period
- IMPORTANT - When ordering Additional Day(s) - you must also order the "Overnight" rate - and for the Additional Day(s), enter the number of BICYCLES multiplied by the number of DAYS you wish to order. For example, if your order is for 2 bicycles and you want them both for three days, the "Additional Days" needs to be ordered as "4" since there are 2 bicycles multiplied by 2 additional days.
