Scenes of Catalina Tour &
Relax and let us introduce you to Avalon, California's only island resort city. You will also visit the Catalina Island Museum. Then, see underwater sights from aboard the semi-submersible SS Nautilus, and feed the fish yourself from inside the vessel.
This is a combination of the Scenes of Catalina Tour and the Nautilus Tour by Semi-submersible Vessel.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Allow 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Scenes of Catalina Tour and 45 minutes for the Nautilus Underwater Sights tour. The tour elements will occur in that order. If you select the 11:30 am tour time, your Nautilus Tour options are 2:15 pm and 3:15 pm. If you select the 1:00 pm tour time, your Nautilus Tour will begin at 3:15 pm. You will be asked to indicate your chosen time for the Nautilus Tour on the order form.

Ride along the island’s only coastline road to an elevation of 400 feet. See the majestic views from the hill while listening as your local guides entertain you with personal insights of Catalina as well as facts about the Island. Tour through Avalon Canyon and see the Catalina Golf Course, the former spring training site of the Chicago Cubs.
After approximately 40 minutes of bus trip, you will be dropped off at the world famous Casino Building for a tour of the Santa Catalina Island Museum where you will discover more than 7,000 years of history through dozens of engaging and visually exciting exhibits.
Nautilus Tour by Semi-submersible Vessel

Join our captain and his crew on a secret research mission aboard the semi-submersible SS Nautilus. Armed with fish food torpedoes, you will venture into the deep on an exploratory mission that is both educational and entertaining.
Designed after the US Nautilus, America's first nuclear powered submarine, Catalina's newest semi-submersible vessel, the "Nautilus", is the destination itself. It features a fish food feeding system with torpedo buttons so you can feed the fish from your very own seat! The large flat screen monitors display pictures of the local species of fish and other sea life inhabitants. Do not miss this one-of-a-kind eco-adventure. Its roomy interior and high-tech gadgets will not disappoint even the smallest passenger.
